Enjoy this special episode of the Motivation Plus Marketing Podcast in which John Di Lemme interviews Tara Vaughn Baldwin, founder of Operation 300.
Tara's brother, SOC Aaron Vaughn, was KIA August 6th, 2011 when his helicopter was shot down in the Tangi River Valley, Afghanistan. He left behind 2 small children. His life and legacy are the inspiration behind Operation 300.
Tara and her family believe that when a member of our Armed Services gives his life in defense of our great nation, the least that we can do is pledge to honor that sacrifice and care for his family. This is the heart behind Operation 300, a registered 501(c)3 not for profit organization which hosts adventure camps for children who have lost their fathers as a result of military service, provides mentorship, honors the sacrifice of the fallen and promotes patriotism and service in our communities.
The camps provide an opportunity to participate in activities that embody the spirit of adventure that characterized the lives of their absent fathers while fostering a culture of courage, strength, freedom, endurance, honor and godly morality embodied by fearless patriots throughout the history of our American Republic.
